Since 2003 Pretty Good Girl has produced 5 full-length dance theatre productions for national and rural touring. Each tour ensured the company visited over 40 tour venues; sometimes theatres, sometimes village halls and sometimes education settings...gymnasiums, community centres, festivals (large and small), museums and carpeted confrence centres. The largest tour stacked up 85 dates across the UK in 2009/10 with 'Elvis Still My Heart'. The company have also completed a four-weekrun at the Edinburgh festival, Pleasance Theatre venue and a week at the Prague Theatre festival in 2008. Pretty Good Girl have been lucky enough to recieve funding from the Arts Council for each of the 4 tours and are currently creating the 5th. They have also been supported financially by Take Art, Somerset, Farnham Maltings, Avon and Somerset Police, Drinkaware and Somerset County Council. The company strives to create professional opportunities for artists based in the South West. The company pride themselves on creating accessible and affordable dance theatre workshops and performance that will engage as many people as possible.
