Louise Barrett (Artistic Director / Choreographer / Performer)

Louise Barrett trained at Bretton Hall and London Contemporary Dance School. Following a jazz dance tour of Japan she came to Somerset to lecture in dance and theatre at Yeovil College. She founded Pretty Good Girl Dance Theatre in 2003 following 3 successful performances at the Resolution festival, London and has since written, choreographed and starred in 4 full length dance theatre productions for national touring. Louise has also carved out accomplished freelance choreography career across the region creating new work with adults, youth and professional theatre companies. Louise is associate artist for both Take Art and the Arc Theatre, Trowbridge.
Louise has ensured that Pretty Good Girl now holds a solid reputation as one of the most innovative education and community focused theatre companies in the South West.
