It was a really exciting week (21-24 July) for PGG. We were out on the road delivering workshops in schools and community settings across the South West.
For this educational tour Louise was joined by two exceptional students from the SPACE college, Taunton.
Students training at the SPACE, work towards a qualification in the Advanced Creativeand Media
Diploma
The students at the SPACE create inspirational and ground-breaking performances exploring all
aspects of the Performing Arts industry.
Olie and Kelly (pictured) have already got their sights on running their own company and have now begun creating work together at the SPACE.
Their is truly inspirational and ideal for audiences of young people and those new to dance across the South West.
The tour began in South Glos and finished up closer to home at the Albermarle centre for Adults with learning difficulties.
It was a truly remarkable week for all involved.
Each day Louise ran a workshop offering students a chance to try out some of the PGG dance ideas and this was then complimented with a performance of '2' - the incredible duet create by the students themselves.
Olie and Kelly have now been invited to present this work at the prestigious MADE IN SOMERSET festival 2012!
4 days, 300 particpants and 300 miles!!! What a week!!
